When can I get an estimate on damages to my car?
We are open Monday - Friday 8 AM to 5:30 PM for estimates. We have 3 adjusters on staff at all times so you do not need an appointment. If you can not make a weekday please call to make an appointment to have your vehicle seen on a Saturday.
Is there anything I need to do prior to coming in for an estimate?
No. If the area of damage is not visible (snow/salt covered or dirt) please clean it off for proper inspection.
Can you repair my car when my insurance company already wrote an estimate?
Yes. IT'S YOUR CAR, YOU CAN HAVE IT REPAIRED WHEREVER YOU'D LIKE. Just bring in the estimate and we will work off of that. If additional work is needed, no need to worry, we will work directly with your insurance company.
How long will it take to repair my vehicle?
Because each situation is different, there is no standard time period necessary to make repairs. The length of time is dependent on the extent of the damage the vehicle has sustained, availability of parts, and your insurance adjuster's timeliness. When the written estimate is prepared we will provide you with an estimated time of completion.
Is there a warranty on the repairs to my vehicle?
Yes, we always give warranty on the work we do. If you are going through an insurance company they may have there own warranty. Either way the work is guaranteed.
Do I have to pay a deductible? Who do I pay a deductible to?
If you have a deductible, it is your responsibility to pay the deductible to Main Auto Body upon the completion of repairs. The amount of your deductible is determined by your insurance policy. If you do not know the amount of your deductible, your agent can tell you.
Do you assist with rental car services?
Yes. Main Auto Body has a relationship with Enterprise in Lodi and can help you make the necessary arrangements. They will meet you at our shop or we can give you a ride to their facility (Its right down the street). Check your insurance policy and/or call your insurance company to find out if you have rental coverage and what your specific limitations are.

Can I get other work done on my car while it is in the body shop?

What are Betterment Charges?
Parts that wear out and need replacement with time and use (i.e., tires, batteries, and suspension parts) are commonly subject to betterment charges when they are replaced during the repair process. These betterment charges are determined by your insurance company and are pro-rated based on actual miles on your vehicle.
